Course No. 6198
The practical training is dedicated to imparting a sound knowledge of the tableting process to the participants, both in theory and in practice.
The first part of the course is given over to lectures, given by well-known specialists and provides the mandatory knowledge needed to understand the tableting process.
Topics to be addressed:
- tablet properties,
- tablet characteristics,
- compaction processes,
- technical aspects of tablet presses,
- excipients and formulation strategies
During the second part of the course, the participants get the chance to work in small groups on state-of-the-art rotary tablet presses, under the supervision of experienced operators.
Each participant will be able to take part actively in the making of tablets and by the end of the course will have acquired the basic knowledge necessary for solving tableting problems.
