GEA Pharma Systems, in association with its Brazilian partner, STEQ, is hosting a series of TECHNOLOGY seminars in Brazil for the benefit of technical specialists in Brazilian pharmaceutical companies.

Senior Pharmaceutical Technologist
The seminars are intended to help directors, managers and production coordinators within pharmaceutical companies get up to date with the latest techniques and technologies for pharmaceutical processing. Participants will learn how technology innovation can improve their production lines; will have an opportunity to debate problems and find resolutions; and be able to exchange knowledge with other industry professionals. Key benefits for attendees will include: better containment, lower cost per tablet, better productivity and faster change-over times.
Subjects for discussion will include:
- Fluid Bed Processing
- High Shear Granulation including Integrated Processing Lines
- Granulation of highly potent materials including Single Pot Processing
- Comparing different granulation processes including a review of continuous processing
- Special applications such as coating, tabletting, etc.
There will also be plenty of time for questions so that individual concerns and comments can be fully addressed.
The free seminars will be presented in English and led by Dr. Harald Stahl - Senior Pharmaceutical Technologist GEA Pharma Systems in Germany. He will be supported by local staff from STEQ. Dates and locations are as follows:

- March 7th - Sao Paulo
- March 8th - Rio de Janeiro
