Split valve technology has been the mainstay of pharmaceutical containment
for many years.
Buck® have set standards in this field
with the introduction of the Buck® HC Valve (High
Containment valve) in the mid 90's, the launch of the Buck®
TC Valve (Total Containment valve) in 2001 and now
again with the launch of their complete new design Buck® MC
Valve (Modular Containment valve).
The current trend is towards flexible, disposable containment
solutions, and it is here that the most exciting innovations are being

With the launch of the Hicoflex® SL Buck® Valve have
started to set standards in this field as well. This Hicoflex® SL however, is
only seen as the starting point for a complete new range of flexible
containment technologies, the Hicoflex® technology in general.
Further products, which will complete the Hicoflex® product portfolio to
meet different containment levels like the Buck® MC Valve , are in the final
development stage and at implementation stage at some selected customers.
