Product Trials in the PDC
The equipment in the PDC is
available for product trials in the PDC premises. These can include new product
trials, feasability trials, scale-up studies, etc. For more information on the

Process Support at the customers site
Often the
transfer of a product from another technology to Collete Single
Pot equipment needs some fine-tuning of the formulation. In this case, the
PDC offers you on-site assistance in this process development. This process
support can be part of the start-up phase of a new machine, but can also be
requested at later stages.
Scientific support
The
PDC also engages in scientific research, often in collaboration with
universities, with the goal to better understand the processes in the Collette
equipment. The final goal of this scientific research is to publish scientific
articles to keep the customers informed about the latest findings.
Also
continuous internal training of the sales staff and project engineers on the
process side of the Collette equipment is a task for the PDC. The aim of this
continuous training, is that Collette's sales staff and project engineers
understand the needs of the customers better, so they can assist the customers
better in the decision and design process when ordering a Collette machine.
Process training
When a new machine is installed at a
customers' site, or when a new operator crew is hired, training on the
capabilities and the use of the machine is indispensable.
The training
of operators and/or supervisors is most commonly executed on-site and includes
theoretical and practical hands-on training on the equipment, as well as
relevant process training (often adjusted to the specific needs of the
customer). Providing process training is one of the tasks of the PDC.
Workshops and seminars
Besides the on-site process
trainings, the PDC also organizes regular workshops and seminars on broader
issues than just the practical use of the equipment.
These workshops and seminars give the participants the opportunity to have a
broader picture of the latest technology improvements in the relevant areas,
give the customers the opportunity to share experiences with others and to
learn from them, and to potential customer the opportunity to get to know
the Gea Pharma Systems - Collette machines.
