The wide range of process technologies supplied by GEA Pharma Systems (GPS) gives personnel a very broad range of experience and helps them work with clients to understand and select the most appropriate process technology during early development. This ensures that future scale up and full-scale production will go smoothly.
The GPS Technology Centre (GPS TC), in Bubendorf, Switzerland, help pharmaceutical companies bring new products to market quickly, effectively and with easy scale-up to full production - the Centre is equipped with a full range of GPS solid dosage processes including: contained material handling, dispensing, blending and powder mixing, granulation, extrusion, pelletization, drying, tablet production and coating.
The GPS TC is licensed for production of medicinal products by Swissmedic (the Swiss Agency for Therapeutic Products) – a licence recognised throughout the EU*. It provides a one-stop GMP environment in which pharmaceutical companies can use the whole range of GPS process technologies to develop new solid dose products including production of investigational medicinal products.
