An effective means of preventing bridging in the container
When used with the Buck® docking system,
Buck®
Vibroflow™ discharging system is an effective means of preventing
bridging in the container. The discharging system is equipped with a vibration
unit that prevents the generation of a vacuum in the upper container area
during discharging, while simulltaneously enabling the product to flow rapidly
from the container. The vibration effect reaches just beyond the upper layer of
the product in the container. The motion generated by the vibration ensures
internal gas exchange in the container. As a result, the product is able to
flow unimpeded and with a constant, uniform speed (accurate mass flow).
Another major benefit is the prevention of product segregation.
The Vibroflow™ product is available in several widths and
is designed to be installed between the container flange and the Buck® passive
valve. Actuating the vibrating device installed on the active station initiates
vibration in the system while the container walls remain unaffected. As the
container is filled, the product mound cone is flattened. The Buck® discharging
system is so designed that it is possible to install it into existing systems
and containers.
The additional installation of a position controller
even makes it possible to control the discharge flow, thereby allowing balanced
charging or discharging of containers, while maintaining a high level of dosing
accuracy.
