guarantee the highest possible degree of cleanliness and safety during transfer
of highly sensitive or highly active materials.
Buck® has met this challenge with the Buck®
TC Valve (Total Containment), a more exacting
system based on the split-valve principle of the highly successful HC (High
Containment) docking system, but designed to meet far more stringent
requirements.
This docking system is an effective answer with regard to
both mechanical safety specifications as well as the most stringent
contamination regulation. Dust emmission levels during all phases of transfer,
docking and undocking can be measured only in nanograms. This level of emission
was previously possible only with the aid of isolation technology.
