IBC BuckWare™ XT is a software solution to track in-process pharmaceutical batches and utilisation of IBCs.

The system allows:

  • increased batch security and process efficiency and reduces the risk of operator error at each process step.
  • Each operation is logged and recorded, providing key information for the batch record in an electronic form.
  • In addition to traceability, utilisation and maintenance of IBCs are identified.
  • With the visualisation system, an overview of the process can be viewed on line.

BuckWare™ XT replaces the tasks that are normally carried out using paper based records, storing IBC information electronically.

The base system provides:

  • data direct to the operator via hand held terminals.
  • An optional feature is offered together with Buck Systems’s range of Docking Stations, Post Hoists, Blenders and Wash Stations, which provides direct interlocks to the process equipment to prevent operation of that equipment if an incorrect IBC is loaded.
  • The system is based on a Microsoft® Windows PC platform, incorporating an SQL database.
  • BuckWare™ XT can be installed on either an existing or a new dedicated server.
  • The system can utilise the Customer’s local intranet, with additional viewing software from Tracker.
  • Historic data can be backed up through Customers existing Intranet network and
    archiving. BuckWare™ XT functionality is achieved by monitoring the IBC content and location utilising bar code scanning of the container and each main process step, feeding this data back to the data base, thus enabling an up-todate analysis of the progress within the production process.

  • With the user friendly and familiar Windows environment, data can be simply accessed and displayed to operators, supervisors, managers and maintenance staff.
