The centre of excellence for powder handling for GEA Pharma Systems
At the powder handling test centre the process expertise evolves around
powder technology, IBC blending
and IBC washing. These are all
identified as key strategic technologies. The Centre primarily uses Buck® technology and development,
and provides true application demonstrations and real environmental test
results. It offers customers the opportunity to evaluate the performance of
powders, granules and tablets using Buck® discharge, blending and containment technologies.
Analysis work can be
conducted on site with specialists or locally with Birmingham University.
